In 1818, the Russian Imperial specified an order of a Hennessy congnac of “excellent, very old, gold-coloured eaux-de-vie(生命之水) of the very finest quality” to celebrate the 42nd birthday of Tsar Alexander I. 200 years later, based on the unique recipe, Hennessy has recreated Paradise Imperial, made from the rarest eaus-de-vie from the Founder’s Cellar.
Stephanie Balini, a rising star of contemporary design, was invited to create a stunning decanter, with a luxurious crystal stopper and an 18 carat gold ring. Each decanter is unique and individually numbered.
The honorable presence of Mr Maurice-Richard Hennessy, the 8th Generation of Hennessy Family brought us to experience A 200-year old Royal Creation, Hennessy Paradise Imperial.
It is a story of an incredible encounter: a historic vineyard, cultivated for almost two centuries by the same family, meeting Hong Kong wine lovers under the stunning backdrop of Victoria Harbour. Ms. Chantal Brégeon Gonet, co-owner of Philippe Gonet, will lead this fantastic adventure through the worlds of exceptional champagnes and fine food.
